• 5-8 years Senior Accountant/Analyst experience
• Extraordinarily strong knowledge of US GAAP rules and regulations; CPA or equivalent required
• Extraordinarily strong reconciliation and analytical skills
• Revenue Recognition and Reconciliation experience
• Accounts Payable and Shared Service experience

Other requirements

• Strong financial reporting skills
• Excellent people skills and business acumen
• Mix of public accounting and private industry experience
• NetSuite / SmartView experience a plus
• Well organized, initiative-taking and works independently required
• Good written and verbal communication skills required

Revenue Responsibilities

• Lead month end reconciliation for both revenue and deferred revenue, ensuring completeness for over 50 channels across a multitude of brands
• Month end reconciliation of accounts receivable and other balance sheet accounts
• Assist in the integration of acquired brands as it relates to revenue
• Make recommendations for process improvements, compiling and documenting SOPs as well as accounting policies
• Assist with special projects and provide support to other team members in the department
• Assist in executing external audits and preparing audit-ready financial statements

Accounts Payable and Shared Services Responsibilities

• Monitoring a high-volume AP inbox, ensuring accurate and timely communication to both vendors and internal departments
• Ideal candidate would have experience working with over 100 vendors and feel comfortable coding invoices with various indicators such as GL, department, and brand. Ensuring that invoices and credit memos are entered into the system within 24hours of receipt
• Assist in the integration of acquired brands as it relates to payables
• Collaboration and assisting various departments such as supply chain, brand management, and other finance team members
• Assist with yearly external/internal audit, providing supporting documentation to auditors and team as needed
• Assist with special projects and provide support to other team members in the department
