Java Backend Developer – TDD/Pair Programming/Clean Code – CTC INR 50 L

What you will do

As Java Backend Developer you will work on technically challenging problems alongside a highly skilled engineering team. The focus is on writing clean, readable, and maintainable code that stands the test of scale and change. You will contribute to building prototypes, experimenting with ideas, and helping transform them into production-ready products.

Beyond day-to-day development, you will actively participate in technical discussions, share ideas, and contribute to the broader engineering culture. You will also have opportunities to represent the team in tech communities, speak at meetups or conferences, and showcase the work you help build.

What we are looking for

We are looking for people with a strong growth mindset and a sense of ownership over the work they do. You should have experience building distributed systems or be eager to learn how large systems are designed and operated.

You should be comfortable discussing ambiguous business requirements with stakeholders and translating them into clear technical solutions. A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals is important.

Experience with modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, and frameworks like React or Redux is expected. You should understand modern JavaScript tooling such as Webpack, Rollup, Parcel, or esbuild.

On the backend, experience writing HTTP services or microservices using productivity-focused languages like Ruby, Python, or PHP, along with their popular frameworks, is valuable. Familiarity with at least one statically typed language such as Java, Go, C#, or Rust is a plus.

You should be comfortable working with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL, writing optimized queries, and understanding query execution plans. Basic Linux knowledge, containerization with Docker, and exposure to Kubernetes are preferred.
