The Role
This role sits at the highest level of technical leadership.
As a Principal Engineer, you will take ownership of complex systems that span architecture, business logic, and platform scalability. You will define the technical direction, influence long-term strategy, and guide teams through execution with clarity and precision.
You will work across engineering, platform, product, and security—ensuring systems are not just built, but thoughtfully evolved.

What You Will Own
- Define and drive long-term technical strategy for core platform systems
- Lead execution of architecture and large-scale system evolution
- Identify and resolve critical technical bottlenecks impacting delivery
- Set and elevate engineering standards across teams
- Influence system design across platform, product, and infrastructure layers
- Review and guide technical decisions with a focus on scalability and performance
- Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders
- Lead cross-functional, high-impact engineering initiatives end-to-end
- Translate complex challenges into clear, executable plans
- Drive modernization of legacy systems with measurable business impact
What You Bring
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with deep expertise in system architecture and distributed systems
- Strong experience building and scaling platforms and data-driven systems
- Proven track record of modernizing legacy systems and improving performance at scale
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas and influence decisions across teams
- Deep hands-on expertise across backend systems and architecture
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Cloud or architecture certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid environments
- Exposure to large-scale SaaS platforms or domain-driven architectures
