Lead Quality Assurance Engineer

As QA Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the quality of our cloud-based software products with SAP integration across multiple Scrum teams. You’ll be a hands-on leader, mentoring and collaborating with developers, SDETs, and product owners to ensure exceptional quality from delivery to maintenance.

Responsibilities:

· Lead the QA team, processes, and initiatives for cloud-based software with SAP integration within Scrum teams.

· Partner with developers to design and implement comprehensive test and validation strategies.

· Champion quality throughout the development lifecycle by defining clear quality gates, fostering accountability within the team, and ensuring high standards for code and release quality.

· Design, code, and execute automated tests (functional, integration, regression, and performance).

· Conduct manual testing, report metrics and defects, and actively participate in bug bashes.

· Collaborate with developers and SDETs to refine testing strategies.

· Participate in design and code reviews, translating user stories and design documents into comprehensive test cases.

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

Proven Experience:

· BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).

· 8+ years of experience creating and executing automated tests (functional, integration, and regression), conducting manual tests, and reporting metrics and defects.

· 3+ years of experience leading an SDET team, setting standards, and selecting testing tools/platforms.

· 2+ years of QA experience in a cloud product environment (AWS preferred).

Technical Expertise:

· Experience designing, architecting, and reviewing test strategies and master test plans.

· Experience creating and maintaining quality matrices to track project progress.

· Familiarity with collaborating with engineers to develop effective testing strategies and plans.

Desirable Skills:

· Experience with Selenium.

· Experience with ETL platforms.

· Exposure to AWS S3 and Redshift databases.

· Knowledge of SAP Systems.

Leadership & Communication:

· Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with developers, testers, product owners, scrum masters, directors, and executives.

· Experience contributing to the decision-making process for application code design, solution development, and code review.

· Strong work ethic and emotional intelligence, including punctuality and adaptability.

· Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and embrace change while maintaining focus on long-term goals.
