Role Overview
Hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer (SDET) to lead QA strategy and automation for AI-powered SaaS platforms. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving end-to-end testing, AI model validation, and automation across multi-tenant cloud systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead QA strategy and roadmap for AI and SaaS platforms, improving automation, coverage, and release quality
Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for API, UI, and data validation testing
Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams to validate AI/ML workflows and model integration
Lead performance, security, and regression testing, ensuring reliability at scale
Perform root cause and trend analysis, recommending process and automation improvements
Document QA processes, release notes, and best practices using Confluence/Jira, aligned with Agile/SAFe
Ensure end-to-end testing coverage across microservices, APIs, mobile, and web-based solutions
Required Skills & Experience
7–10+ years in Software Quality Assurance with strong automation experience
Expert-level proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
Hands-on experience creating custom test automation frameworks
Experience with end-to-end, performance, and reliability testing for complex systems
Exposure to AI testing strategies: foundation models, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, Generative AI frameworks (LangChain, Guidance)
Deep understanding of CI/CD workflows and tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI
Experience testing distributed systems and designing test strategies for them
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with microservices architectures and testing methodologies
Experience with performance/load testing tools: JMeter, Gatling, k6
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: GCP, AWS, Azure
Agile/Scrum experience and prior QA team mentorship/leadership
Experience testing data-driven applications
