Role Overview
As a Senior Staff Engineer – Full Stack, you’ll take technical ownership of large-scale MERN-based platforms, driving architecture, performance, and engineering excellence. This is a frontend-heavy, hands-on leadership role for engineers who thrive in complex systems, influence without authority, and mentor teams while still shipping high-quality code.
What You’ll Do
Architect and own scalable, secure full-stack systems across multiple teams
Lead hands-on development using React, TypeScript, and Node.js
Drive frontend excellence with performance-optimized, reusable UI systems
Partner with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps to deliver business-critical features
Review code and designs, enforcing high engineering and architecture standards
Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability
Mentor senior and staff engineers, raising the overall technical bar
Influence long-term tech strategy, tooling, and architectural decisions
Collaborate on CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, observability, and DevOps practices
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
What You Bring
12+ years of software engineering experience
7–8+ years of full-stack development (frontend-heavy)
Deep expertise in React, Node.js, TypeScript (MERN mandatory)
Strong system design, API design, and microservices knowledge
Experience building cloud-native, containerized applications
Proven ability to influence architecture and technical direction at scale
Excellent communication, mentorship, and leadership-by-influence skills
Leadership & Collaboration
Mentor and coach senior engineers and tech leads
Drive Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) and complex project execution
Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Work seamlessly with cross-functional global teams
