Role Overview

The Senior Staff Architect in Bengaluru (5 days in-office) will drive the design, architecture, and delivery of large-scale, distributed AI systems. This high-impact, hands-on leadership role involves mentoring engineers, guiding technical strategy, and innovating at the forefront of generative AI and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Own design, architecture, and delivery of high-quality features, components, or products

• Drive platform innovation and stay ahead of emerging technologies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders to align strategy with solutions

• Conduct functional, design, and code reviews across teams

• Mentor and provide technical leadership to engineers

• Analyze system-wide implications and recommend scalable, reliable solutions

• Collaborate with managers to estimate, scope, and prioritize solutions

• Integrate Gen-AI technologies in problem-solving and coding

Required Skills & Experience

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent from a premier institute

• 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed internet systems

• Expertise in Java, multi-threading, and performance-oriented programming

• Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture, Cloud computing, Big Data, and NoSQL databases

• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, distributed systems, and open-source frameworks

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

• Proven ability to adapt quickly, lead complex initiatives, and drive innovation

Nice to Have

• Experience in data science, machine learning, and AI-powered products

• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform

• Experience with massively large-scale data and data security

• Contributions to open-source software
