Role Overview

The Product Manager role is responsible for owning product strategy, execution, and cross-functional alignment across a complex, global service ecosystem. The position requires strong product judgment, comfort operating in ambiguity, and the ability to balance long-term strategy with near-term delivery in a fast-paced environment.

The role works closely with engineering, service teams, sales, and leadership to ensure products deliver measurable business impact while addressing meaningful customer needs.


Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with business and service objectives.

  • Ensure product direction supports long-term growth while addressing immediate market needs.

Business & Service Alignment

  • Ensure software products integrate seamlessly into the broader service ecosystem.

  • Drive alignment between product capabilities and business outcomes.

Roadmap & Prioritization

  • Develop and maintain a transparent product roadmap.

  • Balance short-term wins with long-term strategic initiatives.

Feature Development & Execution

  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements for engineering teams.

  • Create detailed user stories and lead release planning efforts.

  • Act as the driving force behind feature delivery from concept to launch.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner closely with service teams, sales, customer success, and leadership to ensure product priorities align with organizational goals.

  • Facilitate alignment across global, cross-functional stakeholders.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Define, track, and analyze product performance metrics.

  • Use data and insights to continuously improve features and outcomes.

Customer Advocacy

  • Represent the voice of the customer by gathering feedback and translating insights into product decisions.

  • Ensure product development remains aligned with customer needs and strategic objectives.

Go-to-Market Support

  • Support product launches by partnering with sales and services teams on messaging, positioning, and rollout plans.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with UX designers, engineers, support, documentation, training teams, and other functions to bring features to market successfully.

Profile

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

  • 4+ years of product management experience in B2B or B2C environments.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering new software features and enhancements.

  • Hands-on experience using Jira.

  • Ability to operate as a generalist Product Manager across multiple product areas.

  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to manage short-term execution while shaping long-term product direction.

  • Experience working in a matrixed, multi-geography environment.

  • Prior experience with ProductBoard is a plus.

  • Prior experience working on AI-driven products leveraging LLMs is a plus.

Role Constraints

  • Hybrid role based in an office in Pune, India, with 2–3 days per week onsite.


Knowledge & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of modern product management practices.

  • API and data fluency, including the ability to read Swagger/OpenAPI documentation, understand JSON payloads, and write basic SQL queries.

  • Ability to analyze product KPIs and assess ROI.

  • Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to see the bigger picture.

  • Analytical and strategic mindset with sound business judgment.

  • Experience using product analytics tools and frameworks to measure feature performance and adoption.

  • Ability to drive operational improvements independently while aligning stakeholders on change.

  • Comfortable operating in agile, evolving environments.

  • Strong results orientation with resilience, ownership, and emotional intelligence.

  • Confidence to challenge perspectives constructively and influence outcomes.

  • Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic and enthusiasm for working within a diverse, global team.
