Full Job Description

Head of Human Resources role is suited for a high-energy, hands-on HR leader responsible for driving both talent acquisition and HR leadership in a fast-paced, growth-stage startup. The position carries a dual mandate: owning senior and leadership hiring while building scalable HR systems, policies, and culture. The role requires comfort operating in ambiguity, strong execution discipline, and the ability to balance strategy with hands-on delivery.

The scope of the role is split approximately 60% toward Talent Acquisition and 40% toward HR Leadership, with direct responsibility for managing and scaling an HR team of 12–15 members.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition (60%)

  • Lead and manage end-to-end hiring for senior and leadership roles across functions

  • Personally close critical, high-impact hires

  • Build and scale recruitment strategies aligned with business growth

  • Develop and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future leadership needs

  • Partner with founders and senior leaders on workforce planning and hiring forecasts

  • Drive hiring speed without compromising on quality

  • Own recruitment metrics and continuously optimize hiring processes

HR Leadership (40%)

  • Shape and strengthen company culture to drive engagement, accountability, and performance

  • Lead core HR operations including HRBP functions, payroll, and onboarding

  • Manage, mentor, and scale a high-performing HR team of 12–15 professionals

  • Design and implement people policies, frameworks, and HR processes for a growth-stage organization

  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and performance management initiatives

  • Partner with leadership on organizational design and long-term workforce planning


Required Experience and Skills

  • Proven startup experience in fast-paced or sales-driven environments

  • Demonstrated ability to independently close senior and leadership roles

  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting and HR generalist functions

  • Experience managing and scaling HR teams, ideally with 10+ members

  • High-energy, results-driven approach with strong execution focus

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, high-growth environments
