  1. A postgraduate degree in any area (ideally supply chain), as well as considerable procurement experience and strong leadership skills in software firms.
  2. Knowledge of procurement systems
  3. Comprehensive knowledge of the entire procure to pay life cycle
  4. Superior vendor management abilities
  5. Finance knowledge (cost management, accounts payable, budgeting)
  6. Strategic thinking, change management, and problem solving skills
  7. Strong collaboration skills across all company functions
  8. Strong bargaining and communication abilities
  9. Excellent risk management and business continuity skills
  1. Establish a Procurement Excellence Center (COE)
  2. Development of organizational strategy and policies around procurement
  3. Creation of a best-in-class supplier base
  4. Creation of best practice processes
  5. Identification of cost savings and cost reduction opportunities
  6. Managing the staff and process around the procure to pay life cycle – Sourcing, vendor management, purchase order, invoice processing and payments
  7. Support the FP&A organization with year-end budgeting
  8. Hiring, managing, and developing the right talent in coordination with HR
  9. Build effective metrics reporting and performance scorecards
