Full Job Description

The AVP of Finance will assist the VP and work with the team responsible for annual budgeting, long range planning, monthly and quarterly forecasting, cross functional analysis, preparation of reporting packages including board materials and investor communications, and high impact special projects.

Your Responsibilities:
• Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities, investments, and overall goals.
• Develop investment strategies, taking into account cash and liquidity risks.
• Provide oversight for fundraising plans and capital structure, ensuring optimal cash flow for organizational operations.
• Lead and oversee the finance team, including Account Managers and other members, to ensure efficient financial operations.
• Ensuring compliant with laws and company policies.
• Prepare reliable and accurate financial reports, including current and forecasting reports.
• Lead the auditing and reporting processes from end-to-end.
• Take accountability for various fundraising initiatives to support business growth, as necessary
• Drive proactive and comprehensive financial planning and analysis on an ongoing basis.

You have:
• 10+ years of experience in the Accounts Domain, with a minimum of 3-5 years in an AVP Finance or equivalent role.
• CA or M Com qualification and above with expertise in Capital Markets.
• Demonstrated expertise as a Financial Officer, Controller, AVP Finance, or similar position.
• Profound knowledge of financial services accounting, reporting, and management practices.
• Exceptional proficiency in data analysis and forecasting techniques.
• Experience in preparing accurate financial reports, analyzing financial data, and implementing internal financial controls.
• Proficiency in preparing budgets, streamlining accounts functions, implementing reconciliation automation, and utilizing analytical tools to provide management insights.
• Experience in coordinating internal and statutory audits, identifying financial risk factors for management, and managing treasury functions.
