AEM Senior Developer

A skilled AEM Senior Developer is needed to develop, enhance, and support Adobe Experience Manager applications and cloud deployments. Working closely with architects, leads, and cross-functional teams – delivering scalable, high-performing AEM solutions using modern development practices and AI-assisted coding tools.

What You’ll Do

• Develop AEM components, templates, workflows, dialogs, and backend services
• Implement reusable and scalable AEM solutions aligned with enterprise standards
• Work on AEMaaCS deployments using Cloud Manager and CI/CD pipelines
• Use Cursor IDE and GenAI coding assistants to improve developer productivity and accelerate delivery
• Configure and troubleshoot AEM Agents, dispatcher caching, and replication issues
• Integrate AEM with REST APIs, third-party systems, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Target
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimisation activities
• Collaborate with front-end developers on SPA and headless CMS implementations
• Write unit tests and maintain secure coding practices
• Support production deployments and resolve critical issues

What You Bring

• 5–8 years of overall software development experience
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with AEM 6.x and AEMaaCS
• Strong Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR, and servlet development experience
• Experience with AEM Cloud deployments and Cloud Manager
• Knowledge of AEM Agents, dispatcher configuration, replication, and caching
• Knowledge of Edge Delivery Services and headless CMS architecture
• Experience using Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or GenAI-based coding assistants
• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Bonus: Adobe Analytics & Target integration, React/Angular, GraphQL APIs, headless CMS

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Adobe AEM Certification — preferred
