Senior Principal Engineer – Next Gen Applications – $190K – $210K

As the Senior Principal Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping our cutting-edge applications for the future. Working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, you’ll be responsible for driving the design and evolution of innovative software solutions.

Your responsibilities encompass:

1. Architectural Leadership: Take the lead in defining and maintaining the architecture of our next-gen applications.
2. Solution Design: Translate the vision for our next-gen applications into concrete architectural designs, and be ready to prototype when necessary.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with leaders from various engineering functions to identify pain points and proactively enhance our application platform.
4. Guidelines and Standards: Play a key role in establishing and implementing coding standards, ensuring teams follow them diligently.
5. Documentation and Governance: Create a robust architecture documentation and governance framework to ensure the consistency and quality of our applications.
6. Strategic Alignment: Manage and resolve the tension between the global architectural direction and the specific needs of teams and the business.

Qualifications:

• Proven Expertise: A successful track record in architecting and delivering innovative software solutions.
• Programming Proficiency: Mastery of programming languages, including but not limited to Golang, Python, Rust, Java, C/C++.
• Cloud-Native Skills: Working knowledge of cloud-native environments and container technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• SaaS Experience: Experience in designing multi-tenant SaaS applications, preferably using public cloud technologies like AWS.
