Director of Engineering – Hands on Leader – SaaS Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Engineering with a “hands-on” approach to lead our product development team. As the Director of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technical vision, strategy, and execution of our product roadmap. You will lead a talented team of engineers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning
• Drive the technical direction and architecture of our products, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices
• Collaborate with product management, design, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize features and enhancements
• Manage the full product development lifecycle, from ideation to release, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output
• Champion engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD)
• Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and processes to improve team productivity and product quality
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to resolve complex technical challenges and optimize performance and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering efforts with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and customer success
• Drive a culture of innovation and excellence, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment where team members can thrive and grow

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 15+years of experience in software engineering, with a proven 5+years of track record of leading and managing engineering teams
• Strong technical expertise in .NET framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, ERP software (SAP and Oracle E-Business), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), microservices architecture, and SAAS background
• Proven ability to drive product development from concept to launch, delivering high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly solutions
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and initiatives
• Experience working in an agile development environment, with a focus on iterative delivery and continuous improvement
