Role Overview
As a BIM Team Lead, you will oversee BIM activities across Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines for large-scale projects. You will lead model development, implement BIM standards, and coordinate with design consultants, project teams, and clients. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for candidates with 10–12 years of construction experience and 3–5 years in BIM leadership, passionate about streamlining workflows and delivering high-quality, coordinated models.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the BIM team across Architecture, Structure, and MEP
Develop, implement, and monitor BIM Execution Plans (BEP)
Coordinate BIM deliverables among all disciplines and project stakeholders
Review and validate BIM models for clash detection, constructability, and accuracy
Ensure timely delivery of models and drawings as per LOD requirements
Conduct clash coordination meetings, manage issue resolution and tracking
Support 4D/5D BIM, quantity take-offs, and construction sequencing
Ensure compliance with client, PMC, and project BIM protocols
Manage BIM data, Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms, and documentation
Provide training, mentoring, and performance guidance to BIM team members
Collaborate with project managers to align BIM workflows with project schedules
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
8–12 years of professional experience, with 3–5 years in BIM leadership
Proven experience on large-scale residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects
Exposure to PMCs, developers, and design consultants
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Revit (Architecture, Structure, MEP)
Hands-on experience with Navisworks Manage for clash detection
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Dynamo (preferred), BIM 360 / ACC
Understanding of LOD, ISO 19650 standards, and BIM workflows
Experience with 4D/5D BIM, quantity extraction, and coordination reporting
Strong understanding of construction drawings, codes, and site coordination
