Experienced Backend Engineers are needed to join a global network of senior technologists, working alongside blue-chip enterprise and public sector clients to deliver high-impact, production-grade software. What You’ll Do
- Work with clients and teams to determine system requirements and the best path to deliver them
- Deliver production software using agile practices – pair programming, TDD, CI/CD, and fast feedback loops
- Automate system infrastructure and deployments
- Own production support of systems built – full end-to-end accountability
- Advocate agile practices to client organisations and help teams deliver better
- Mentor client team members and elevate delivery capabilities
- Collaborate remotely with globally distributed teams in a consultative, values-led fashion
What You Bring
- 8–16 years of experience developing, maintaining, and operating enterprise-scale distributed systems
- Expert-level knowledge of a chosen programming language and its associated tooling — multi-language experience highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing practices
- Strong grasp of CI/CD, pair programming, and agile delivery principles
- Experience with microservice architectures and RESTful services
- Hands-on experience with large-scale production systems in containerised or cloud environments — AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills — ability to collaborate across globally distributed teams
- Passion for technology with a growth-based, learning mindset and willingness to move across languages and stacks
- Ability to work collectively toward a common goal without insisting on a fixed course of action
Education
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent industry experience
