The Head – Business Applications role calls for a strategic and hands-on technology leader responsible for driving the vision, roadmap, and delivery of the enterprise applications portfolio, including Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP SuccessFactors, Zendesk, Pardot, and an expanding suite of AI-enabled tools.
This role focuses on ensuring that enterprise systems, data, and automation strategies scale with business growth while delivering measurable impact on productivity, decision-making, and customer experience. The Head of Business Applications will collaborate closely with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, HR, Finance, Product, and Engineering to modernize and integrate the internal digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the enterprise applications and AI systems strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals, growth initiatives, and IT modernization priorities.
Lead architecture, governance, and integration across Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP SuccessFactors, Zendesk, Pardot, and internal AI applications to ensure seamless data flow, automation, and scalability.
Drive the adoption and responsible use of AI applications including workflow automation, analytics, chatbots, and agentic assistants that enhance business productivity.
Collaborate with business and data teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions that improve process efficiency, analytics capabilities, and decision intelligence.
Own data governance, compliance, and security across all enterprise platforms while maintaining alignment with corporate standards.
Establish KPIs and OKRs to measure system performance, adoption, ROI, and overall business impact.
Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing applications team consisting of analysts, administrators, and integration specialists.
Lead change management initiatives and user enablement programs to ensure effective adoption of systems across global teams.
Track emerging technology and AI trends, identifying opportunities to enhance enterprise systems through AI, low-code automation, and advanced data intelligence capabilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive experience managing enterprise business applications within a B2B SaaS or technology-driven environment.
Proven leadership in Salesforce administration or architecture with strong working knowledge of NetSuite, SAP SuccessFactors, Zendesk, and marketing automation platforms such as Pardot or HubSpot.
Demonstrated success implementing AI-enabled or machine learning–driven tools that improve enterprise processes and decision-making.
Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes across sales, marketing, customer success, HR, finance, and support operations.
Expertise in data architecture, system integrations (APIs, middleware, ETL tools), and governance frameworks.
Experience building and leading cross-functional teams that support enterprise systems and automation initiatives.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence executive leadership.
PMP, ITIL, or Salesforce certifications preferred; familiarity with AI governance or MLOps frameworks is an advantage.
